What we Believe

Picture
Picture
The Bible
We believe that the King James Bible, often called the Authorised version (KJB, KJV, AKJV, AV) is the only true descendant from the original word of God and it is our final authority for faith and practice.

The Trinity or, to use the Biblical term, The Godhead
We believe that one God exists in three distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are one, each possessing all the attributes of God. Jesus is The Son, The Christ, God incarnate, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man.

Picture
Mankind
God created man in his own image but Adam rebelled (by making a deliberate choice, fully informed of the consequences) in the garden of Eden. All of Adam's descendants are born in his (Adam's) image, with an un-reformable rebellious nature.

Hell
Hell is a real place, intended for the eternal damnation of the Devil and his angels. God does not want to send people to Hell but rather, "is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish," (2 Peter 3:9). However, continued rejection of His offer of eternal salvation gets the awful reply  "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" (Matt 25:41). Jesus' death paid the penalty for our sins, if you don't believe that you don't get the forgiveness bought for you on the cross.
Adam surrendered his God given dominion to Satan and look at the trouble it has caused us.
Choose wisely; Choose LIFE! only found in Jesus Christ.

Salvation
We believe that man is saved by grace through faith alone. Man is born lost and cannot earn salvation, nor keep himself saved once he is saved. We are saved from sin and death when we trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and his bodily resurrection. His sinless blood pays for our sins, bestows forgiveness, and gives us eternal life.
If Jesus Christ is not God then he cannot forgive sin because only God can forgive sin.
Here are the basic elements of the gospel as presented in 1 Corinthians 15:3,4
THAT CHRIST
You must believe: that Jesus is "The Christ,
The Son of God, God incarnate" this is important.
DIED
You must believe: that He died
 FOR OUR SINS
You must believe: that He died in your place, took your penalty.
 WAS BURIED
You must believe: that He was buried, 3 days & 3 nights.
THAT HE ROSE AGAIN
You must believe: in the resurrection.
 ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES
You must believe: that this was no mistake, it was God's plan.

God in His great love for you has provided a sacrifice for your sin.
God is not judging sin today!
He did that nearly 2000 years ago on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:19).
Now, God wants your trust not your righteousness!!
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested... even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:21~24).
"The gospel of God's grace"
(Acts 20:24)

In His MERCY God provided a substitute, Jesus. (Genesis 22:8)
In His GRACE He offers Salvation, for FREE! (Ephesians 2:8)
There is no other method of salvation available to the fallen children of Adam but through this All Sufficient sacrifice.

Eternal Security
We believe in the eternal security of the believer. Once a person is saved by Grace he or she can never lose their salvation.
We believe in the eternal security of the believer and the eternal damnation of the lost.

Church
The Church is not a material building but a spiritual organism: We believe that the church of this age is the body of believers connected to their head in heaven, Christ.
Picture
Objective
The church exists today for the encouragement and building up of individual believers.
Just like a club or organisation is a place where like minded people come together to share an interest, compare experiences and to learn more about their particular interest. They may have a clubhouse or a boardroom but it is only a location to meet, it could be anywhere.
We meet in order to grow in knowledge and understanding, to increase faith and equip us to evangelise. The term, Evangelical Church is an oxymoron. Individuals evangelise, not the church, because salvation is personal not corporate.
