A simple graphic representation of the Biblical layout.
Just like in real time, there is past, present and future in the Biblical narrative. Time past, But now, Ages to come, Ephesians 2.
Take note of who the passage is addressed to (example; James 1:1).
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are writing to unbelieving Israel (Jn 20:31).
After the gospels, Acts is needed to explain the sudden shift to addressing gentiles.
Notice how only the yellow section is addressed to believers in gentile (Non Jewish) cities.
Hebrews to Jude are written to believing Israel.
Do not mix Grace and Law, they are opposed. Only in the yellow section are we "not under law, but under grace" Romans 6.
